Alpha Property Bond ("APB") is a registered mutual fund that invests in a portfolio of United Kingdom freehold and leasehold residential and commercial Property Assets (“UKPA”) and/or to provide short term residential and commercial property loans to developers and property professionals at competitive rates of interest together with their related security (“Property Loan Assets”).
APB provides an opportunity to investors, including SIPPs and institutions, to invest in a diversified portfolio of UKPA. APB aims to deliver long-term low-risk returns through acquiring, holding and disposing of residential property, within a conservatively geared and well-managed investment vehicle.
In addition to capital growth, APB's fully tenanted portfolio of residential leasehold and freehold properties provides a healthy rental yield that delivers positive cash flows to cover the fund’s operating costs.
The majority of APB´s assets are invested in UKPA, but as part of APB's diversified strategy, APB will also invest to a lesser degree in development opportunities, strategic land, property development and real estate related planning opportunities or property related companies from time to time, as the Directors see fit.
APB´s investment strategy team has worked closely with land agents and property consultants throughout the recent recessionary period to identify and acquire strategic properties, and has identified parcels of land that are suitable for residential development and then work with local authorities to obtain 'adoption' and ultimately planning approval for residential housing developments.
